Coffee Guard Replacement Filter Socks (5-Pack)

This 5-pack of drain sock filters is to be used with the Coffee Guard 2 and Coffee Guard 2 Mini.  The filter sock can hold up to 2.2 pounds of coffee grinds.

How often should I replace the fine filter sock?  Figure 1 cup of coffee produces 0.1 gram of coffee grinds in the waste water.  The fabric filter can hold 2.2 lbs or approximately 1,000 grams of coffee.  Therefore, the filter can hold about 10,000 cups worth of coffee grinds. So, if you sell 1,000 cups of coffee per day, the fine filter will last approximately 10 days.  If you have two Coffee Guards installed, the fine filter will last approximately 20 days.  Be sure to monitor the filter sock after installation to determine ideal replacement rate for your location.
