Washing Machine Lint Trap Super Filter for drainage hoses and stand pipes

I used this for my washing machine standpipe to catch lint, hairs, etc. Plumbers are expensive and this saves me from having to call one because debris is clogging my line. It can be hard to clean but it works. I'm just going to buy extra as it is worth it. Do check it routinely, just as you would your lint catcher on your dryer. I say this because one time I forgot to and water came back up due to the lint trap blocking the flow. If you know you are washing something that sheds a lot of lint, then definitely check frequently. This is better than having all the stuff go down your pipe.

We got our daughter a Husky and as you all know they shed...ALOT! So when I go to wash clothes, there is a ton of hair going into the drain and yes, it gets clogged and then I have to run a damn snake, which really sucks. This right here...WOW! So simple and yet HIGHLY EFFECTIVE! I am amazed at the amount of stuff it collects when I wash. You do have to clean it out, which is super easy.
