Perfect for restaurant owners and facility managers who are tired of losing their dome strainer. We also suggest using a floor drain strainer to keep your plumbing system free of pipe clogs and drain backups.
Designed to withstand the ultimate abuse typical of high volume restaurants and commercial kitchens. Constructed with a glass filled polypropylene base, cast aluminum dome top, brass nut, and tamper proof pin-n-head stainless steel bolt, this drain lock is best in class.
Guardian Drain Lock GDL-D-2000 2" Product Benefits
Dome D-Lock comes in 2 inch, 3 inch, and 4 inch sizes and is designed to prevent food, debris, and trash from entering the drain lines and pipes that would have otherwise caused clogged and damaged P-Traps (due to repeat clearing of a drain by a plumbers snake). It also preventing rags and floating debris from entering a grease interceptor which can lead to blockage as well as interruption of business due to a drain clog.

Installation
This self-contained drain lock does not require assembly, training, or a plumber to install. Simply insert the Dome Lock into the floor sink drain and ratchet tight the Torx tamperproof bolt. This can be done in under 10 seconds!

Great product !
I installed these in all 5 of our floor drains after 3 plugged drains in 2 months, all requiring a plumber. Since installation, we have had zero problems in 6 months. I am ordering more for our other locations. I wouldn’t try these in a high volume drain, as I installed one in the dishwasher drain (3”) and it obstructed the flow too much, but in regular drains, it works great !
