Description

Ultra-Drain Guard: Stormwater Filtration Made Easy

The Ultra-Drain Guard is designed to intercept stormwater pollutants before they enter the drainage system. This in-drain filter captures debris, sediment, and hydrocarbons such as oil, helping prevent water contamination. Constructed with Ultra-Filter-Tex geotextile fabric, it’s ideal for industrial sites, construction areas, and parking lots—locations prone to runoff carrying oil, soil, trash, and fuel residues.

Compliance

  • Exceeds 80% sediment removal efficiency
  • Assists with NPDES compliance (40 CFR 122.26, 1999) as a Best Management Practice (BMP) in Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans

Easy Installation
Fits most storm drains:

  1. Lift the grate.
  2. Position the Ultra-Drain Guard over the opening.
  3. Lower the grate back in place.
  4. Secure the fabric by pinching it at the edges.

Available Models

  • Oil & Sediment (Part# 9217/9356): Captures up to 0.87 gallons of hydrocarbons along with dirt and sand.
  • Oil & Sediment Plus (Part# 9219/9358): Enhanced with Ultra-Filter-Tex strips for added absorption—up to 1.38 gallons total hydrocarbon capacity.
  • Trash & Debris (Part# 9227): Targets larger pollutants like leaves, cigarette butts, and paper. Also effective for capturing plastic pellets to support programs like Operation Clean Sweep.
